Dynamic propeller balancing is a process where a digital sensor is used to measure vibrations produced by an engine’s rotating components.

· An out of balance prop causes a rotational imbalance which dramatically reduces the life of the engine and its components.

· These vibrations also lead to premature wear of the entire airframe, electrical systems, and avionics.

· Since these vibrations are transferred through the crankshaft, most cranks under such stress are rejected during engine overhauls. The cost of a new crankshaft can be up to $ 5000.00 U.S dollars.
